Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Account data: email address and name (if provided at signup).

Learning progress: which words you've seen, your review intervals, and your answer history. This is stored locally in your browser and synced to our database when you're logged in.

Payment data: processed entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your card details.

2. How We Use It

We use your data solely to provide and improve the service: syncing your progress across devices, managing your subscription, and sending account-related emails (confirmation, password reset). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Data Storage

Your learning progress is stored in your browser's localStorage and, when logged in, in our Supabase (PostgreSQL) database hosted in the EU. Only you can read or write your own data — enforced at the database level.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your learning progress locally. No tracking cookies are set.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@riaddarija.com. We will process the request within 30 days.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll notify logged-in users by email for material changes.
